VILLA 69 - THE LOUNGE AND BAR/PUB REVIEW

On 24th April, I was attending an event at Villa 69. While there, I couldn't help but notice the striking interiors of the place, so decided to review it along with the food they served. So, here it goes. Enjoy :-)

The Venue....

Day/Night view of the Villa 69. Situated opposite the PVR Cinemas, in Juhu, at one corner is the Villa 69 ( Lounge & Bar/Pub ). The entrance looks different from surrounding structures around, so one will immediately notice that fact. Painted in all while, it looks gorgeous and royal.

Once inside, you'll definitely get impressed by the white decor, tastefully done. The place is quite spacious and looks very elegant. The whiteness of it all will really strike you. Whether its the walls or the furniture, everything is white except the golden chandeliers. In the middle, on one side is the bar. The place is longish, with wash-rooms located behind. With chandeliers lit, the place looks very cozy without any glaring lights. It has both lounge chairs and normal chairs.

The Walls...

The walls of the place are unique no doubt, specially this wall that had a whole lot of cupids in them, with their own expressions. Choose the one you identify with.

The Food...

Though, I was attending a fashion event, the food was also another highlight of the place, because the waiters ( dressed in all black, quite a contrast to the all-white decors ) kept bringing one yummy starter after the other ( both of veg & non-veg varieties ). The Chilli Paneer obviously caught my fancy, along with the soft-bread with Hummus. The chicken-spinach stick and fish tikkas were next. Thin crust pizzas, both veg & non-veg ones too were served. Full marks to the food. Being a foodie, I loved and relished them all.

The Drinks...

Wines - chilled white and dry red, with fruits in them was the next thing served that I loved. Yea, the coke too :-) The bar stocks whole lot of other drinks too, including red-bull.

With soft music playing in the background and attentive staff looking after the guests, the place is a good one to spend a fun and relaxed evening.
