Direction to use : Important - First, do a preliminary patch test, as given in the instruction manual to check for skin irritation. If everything is good, next step is - mix the colorant and cream developer in a open-mouth plastic bowl ( or both inside the developer container itself that has a nozzle too ), and spread the mixture across your hair ( or the portion you want to colour ) with a colouring brush, fingers ( wear the gloves in that case ), or the nozzle. Stay 1-2 hours, depending on how deep colour you want. Wash off the hair colour thoroughly at first, under running water. Use the conditioner and wash it again.
My Review ( P.O.V ) : After having bleached my hair and ending up with very rough, multi coloured effects, and then unfortunately using some other very expensive hair colours, my hands finally fell onto the Revlon Colorsilk range ~ that is a brand of permanent and ammonia-free hair color from Revlon. Whoah, I was impressed and how! I've been using it regularly since then, but I must first say - check your complexion first and only then choose the hair colour accordingly else it won't suit you, and you'll end up looking very weird. This hair colour, I'm reviewing, is for complexions on the fairer side. But worry not, Revlon has such a huge variety, that you'll come across your 'own one' in no time. Infact, Revlon Colorsilk specifically carries a wide variety of brown shades, many with red tones. It also has a spin-off line, Revlon Colorsilk Luminista, that is designed specifically for dark hair. So, you get my point. ( see here all colours )
Unlike other hair dyes, Revlon Colorsilk is known to be less damaging than other dyes, and the box claims that the dye will leave your hair in better condition. It is ammonia free. This particular hair colour is ideal for women. Additionally it has UV Filter for Sun Protection. The colour is natural and is indeed a stay-true permanent colour that resists fading, unlike other colours that fades off. Needless to say, I'm a very happy customer :-)
