Photo Travelogue :
I was taking the wheels on this trip! Boy, was I thrilled. Can it get more exciting than that? Also, a little scary perhaps, especially, for my co-travellers, lol - because, it was couple of years now that I hadn't driven. So, although, a bit nervous..I got right behind them - the wheels :-) This was a sponsored trip. Hats of to the organisers for having the courage in letting me drive, heheh :p
moi in action...
we took the western express highway...takes little over an hour to reach Lonavla.
driving through plains, through hills, through tunnels, through tolls...
is that a carpet or a road?
now, who wouldn't want to drive on this kinda roads? Lucky me :-)
in little over an hour, we reached Tiger Point! Check out its pics below :-)
Our destination! It was breezy & green all around, although, without fencing, scary too...

Also known as Tiger's Leap because of its shape that resembles a leaping tiger, Tiger Point in Lonavala is a 650-metre high hilltop offering panoramic views of the lush green valley with lakes and waterfalls.
Lonavala is a hill station surrounded by green valleys in western India near Mumbai. The Karla Caves and the Bhaja Caves are ancient Buddhist shrines carved out of the rock. They feature massive pillars and intricate relief sculptures. South of the Bhaja Caves sits the imposing Lohagad Fort, with its 4 gates. West of here is Bhushi Dam, where water overflows onto a set of steps during rainy season. ( wiki )
