FRIDAY SKYWATCH - SETTING SUN AT MARINE DRIVE

Photo Travelogue!

That time of the day when we can stare directly at the sun. Sun rise and sun sets are only times when we can stare at the sun without getting our eyes damaged. It is said staring at sun or sun gazing during early sun rise or sun set ( for short periods - 10mins or so, not longer or continuous ) increases your energy intake and has healing properties along with good dose of vitaminD. That tiny ball of fire takes his leave for the day and plunges deep into the far horizon slowly, with a promise to come back the next day. Views of Sun set in Marine Drive with the Arabian Seas roaring is something I can never get tired of. I always feel happy near the seas and watching the sun going down gracefully is something so soothing. Actually, its not the sun, but earth's rotation that makes it look as though the sun is the one who is doing all the hardwork and movements; whereas, its the other way round. Anyways, lets enjoy the perfect sunset...my ideal of super bliss!

C'ya tomorrow buddy!

Marine Drive is a 3.6 kilometre-long promenade along the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road in Mumbai, India. The road and promenade were constructed by Pallonji Mistry. It is a banana-shaped, six-lane concrete road along the coast of a natural bay. At the northern end of Marine Drive is Girgaon Chowpatty ( wiki). A Skywatch Post!
