If you've gone through my previous post, I have described the Ghodbunder Fort in details and my experience there. In this post, I'm sharing the lovely views from atop the fort. Pictures don't do justice to the actual views and 'feel' of the place. Its really beautiful. Nonetheless, its a great place and one can understand how it was used as an observation point too along with other functions as it gives a 360 degree views of the entire surroundings. Currently, it has lots of concrete structures surrounding, but one can imagine a time when these structures were not there, and, there was only jungles everywhere and the fort. On one side there's the Arabian Sea, the Vasai Creek, the mangroves, the wetlands, and on the other side the entire stretch of Sanjay Gandhi National Park and the busy highway and ghat sections. Come along and enjoy ;-)
