These tri-colour flags, badges, rubberbands, bangles and other trinkets make my day. They start appearing nearly a week or two before the actual day and people love buying these to show their patriotism. Some display them in their shops/cars, homes, or wear the badges in their garments proudly. Most look forward to the holiday just to relax. But, none forget the struggles our ancestors had to do to get us the freedom and subsequently our own constitution. Happy Republic Day!
