VISITING SUPERSTAR SHAH RUKH KHAN'S HOME MANNAT AT LANDS END, BANDRA

Okay, not the home per se, but, the road passing in front from where one can see the house clearly. It stands overlooking the bandstand with amazing sea views. There's a shaded area right at the junction where both BJ road and HK Bhaba road meets, its where fans gather to get a glimpse of the star. A local food vendor told me, if the crowd is huge, he comes out to wave at them; and also on popular occasions. I'm not really his fan, so, I decided to move on :s

the lane on left next to Mannat with clusters of chawls, goes right up the hill and opens at Mt.Mary Church behind...





I followed the path that ran left of the 'Mannat' house. I got a closer look of the house. There are lots of security including police vans lined up the entire lane. The building seemed quite dusty - maybe, noone lives in those additional floors and had gathered dust. Anyways, I went ahead as after couple of steps I'd reach the Mount Mary Church. There are several steps with a cluster of juggi-jhopdis, a stark contrast to the super star's mansion, in such close proximity...well such is life!
