So, my exploration of the Amchang Reserve Forest continues. In my previous trek I reached uptil the Bonda waterfall deep inside the forest. However, I stopped at the base and enjoyed it from below ( didn't attempt to climb up as it is very slippery and dangerous - many lives lost ). Immersed in greenery, I enjoyed my time thoroughly. In my second trek, I took a different route ( left one from the fork I had come across earlier ) and attempted to go up a heavily forested hill. There's an eco-camp further ahead on in this track and one can spot elephants easily from close range. However, I didn't encounter any. The forest office at the base was closed ( for monsoons and forest entry restricted as well ), so, didn't encounter any humans too. I enjoyed going deep inside. Going alone deep ( although was forbidden during that time ) is another thrill altogether ;-)

from what I gather, entry is currently free...

a sign-board that warns you to obey the rules of the jungle...

in this jungle-camp track, the climb is steep from the very onset...

tall trees giving you company...

with wild elephants, leopards and tigers, wild bisons etc just waiting around the corner...

with no one stopping me, I kept walking deep inside...

something stung me right then on my arm, was it a warning for me to leave?

but, I was undeterred...

a tiny insect can't stop me, eh...I've come for bigger things, lol...

fortunately, didn't encounter anything nasty...

came back after quite an interesting trek...
I enjoyed both my treks. Its a paradise for nature lovers. One can stay overnight in the jungle's eco-camp run by the forest department or can even do self jungle camping. But will recommend to camp in groups of two-thee. Donot disturb the wild and donot litter while in the forests. Cheers!
