As announced in my
earlier post, that I had received a Herbalife 7 Day Claim hamper recently, to try them out and write my experience - so, here's finally the post! First of all thanks to
Herbalife Skin for allowing me to pamper myself with some really world-class products. And I totally loved the experience. The views will naturally
as usual be of my own, without any influence.
During summers, I usually like to keep my skin totally free of any creams/lotions, so that my pores don't get clogged in all that dust, sweat, grease, grime etc resulting in those deadly acne outbreaks. However, thankfully using Herbalife products didn't tax my skin as I had initially feared. The 7 day claim period is long over now, and I'm still using the products, so, that should say enough about how impressed I was ;-) Herbalife Skin products combine a blend of Vitamin B3, Vitamin C & E, and Aloe Vera to enhance the appearance of the skin. And our skin, besides needing a Healthy Diet
( that effects how your skin looks ), Nutritional Supplements
( consisting of vitamins and minerals to provide enough nutrients for a busy lifestyle ) also needs
Skin Nutrition - the same thoughtful care for your skin. Afterall, the skin is the largest organ of our body and needs out-most care and 24x7 protection.
My test started as soon as I received the products couple of weeks ago, and even during my busy schedule I tried them religiously if only to see for myself whether the claims were true or not. There are 6 products in all : 3 for day time use, 2 for night time and 1 on weekly basis. The products has to be tried in the serial order that I am reviewing for best results.
1. HERBALIFE POLISHING CITRUS CLEANSER
For any skin care regime, a face wash or cleanser is always the starter. What I liked best about this particular product is the fragrance that hit me even before I opened the tube. Refreshing Citrusy fragrance, that instantly transports you to somewhere in the Mediterranean
( not exaggerating ). The cleanser has polishing Jojoba ( micro ) beads in the citrus-infused gel, which removes impurities ( oil/dirt ) and make-up. As the product
( like all Herbalife products I received ) is
dermatologically tested,
Paraben & Sulfate free, I was re-assured somewhat of its safety on the skin. Its usage is easy. Just massage a little of the content
( coin-sized ) onto damp skin in a circular motion. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a soft towel. Since it can be used both in morning ( AM ) as well as evening ( PM ), I used the same before trying the night products. It is suitable for normal to oily skin. Priced at $ 26.85/150ml, it might come across as tad bit costly, but the product is good and worth it. It leaves you feeling fresh and clean. The product has been exclusively formulated with: Vitamin B3, antioxidant Vitamins C and E and Aloe Vera, Orange oil/Citrus oils, Grapefruit oil/Citrus oils, Apple-derived cleansing ingredients, Jojoba Esters.
2. HERBALIFE PURIFYING MINT CLAY MASK
Although I've listed it 2nd on the row of the Daily care regime, this product is best used once or twice a week, after using the Cleanser and before Line Minimizing Serum. It has a minty kinda fragrance due to spearmint infused in it. The colour is light green and of rich creamy texture and my skin felt bit cool when I first used it. The best thing was the comment I received from my neighbour, who asked me if I did anything to my skin, after using the product. Best way to use it is, after the cleanser dab the mask on your face and let it set for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Priced at Rs. 1208/120 ml, the product has been exclusively formulated with: Vitamin B3, antioxidant Vitamins C and E and Aloe Vera, Bentonite Clay
( that has absorbent and toning effects to remove dirt and absorb excess oil ), Rosemary leaf oil, Spearmint oil.
3. HERBALIFE LINE MINIMIZING SERUM
I've already started to enter that particular 'dreaded' age-zone, when even though they haven't appeared as yet, they might soon, if adequate care if not taken much in advance, and this product came as a good test to see if it made any difference;
( They??? oh..those scary wrinkles )! I was particularly interested in fine lines reduction, because that ultimately leads to wrinkles. Since, I don't have the latter one yet, my usage of the product was to see how soft, smooth or radiant it made my skin within the 7 days claim period. I'm not disappointed and will recommend those in late twenties and early thirties to definitely try it. Priced at Rs. 3205/30ml in an airless pump, with creamy consistency, suitable for all skin types, it is a good investment for skin. It should be used after Cleanser
( and toner ) and before Daily Glow Moisturizer. Apply in the face gently, particularly the area around the corner of eyes and around mouth, where fine-lines generally tend to appear more. The product has been exclusively formulated with: Vitamin B3, antioxidant Vitamins C and E and Aloe Vera, Chestnut seed extract, Peptide.
4. HERBALIFE DAILY GLOW MOISTURIZER
To be used after the Serum is the Daily Glow Moisturizer. It is an ideal moisturizer for its illuminating effects making the skin soft, supple and glowing. Using both serum and moisturizer may give a little oily effect to some
( esp those with very oily skin ), however, it is said to be suitable for all skin types in both the genders. The moisture last long for upto 8 hours. On stepping out, though, one may need to apply a sunscreen over it as the moisturizer do not have additional UVA/UVB protection in it. Priced at Rs. 2414/30 ml airless pump, the product has been exclusively formulated with: Vitamin B3, antioxidant Vitamins C and E and Aloe Vera, Sunflower seed oil, Spilanthes Acmella Flower Extract, Macadamia nut oil, Olive oil, Sesame seed oil.
5. HERBALIFE HYDRATING EYE CREAM
For the evening part of the regime, right after using the Cleanser I used the Herbalife Hydrating Eye Cream in the area around my eyes. That particular area is generally dry
( around and under eyes ) and prone to dehydration as its an area which has a lower amount of both sweat and oil glands. It is most sensitive as well, and dark-circles, wrinkles can form easily if its not taken care of adequately. The product has been Ophthalmologist tested. Priced at Rs. 2240/15 ml airless pump, the product is suitable for all skin types. I'm using it at night and I must say the area doesn't look dull and dry as it used to. The product helps in increasing the skin's moisture for over 8 hrs. It has been exclusively formulated with: Vitamins B3, antioxidant Vitamins C and E and Aloe Vera, Macadamia nut oil, Cucumber extract, Peptide.
6. HERBALIFE REPLENISHING NIGHT CREAM
I generally used night cream very rarely, but realize it now how important it is to keep the skin hydrated and nourished throughout, so that they donot become rough. During my usage of the Replenishing Night Cream, I indeed woke to a softer and smoother skin, as compared to the dry skin I used to have earlier. Priced at Rs. 2240/30 ml airless pump, the product comes in rich creamy consistency and is suitable for all skin types, applied after using the cleanser, toner and serum. The product has been exclusively formulated with: Vitamins B3, antioxidant Vitamins C and E and Aloe Vera, Sunflower seed oil, Macadamia seed oil, Olive fruit oil, Sesame seed oil, Spilanthes Acmella Flower Extract.
Introduced recently, an all new

Herbalife Skin provides 3 personalized Skin Care regimes : Basic, Advanced and Ultimate, to ensure customers gets full benefit of Herbalife Skin products as per their requirements. It has a skin-care schedule for men as well, using some of the products. I followed the Daily Skin Care 7 Day ( General ) regime using the above
reviewed products and as per the schedule below.
( with exception of the soothing aloe cleanser, energizing herbal toner & instant reveal berry scrub ). Overall I've loved the products, although, following the regime as instructed
( using all products ) may seem a bit tedious and time-consuming esp for those living a hectic work life. However, saying that, I'd have definitely loved to try out the Scrub and Toner as well.
