The 2nd attraction in Abhaneri standing right next to the Chand Baori ( divided by a small lane ), is the very ancient Harsat Mata ka Mandir/ Temple. It is a really ancient site, hence, worth visiting ~ just to admire the ancient architecture. Most of it is in ruins, though. But prayers are still offered inside what remains of the temple. I explored the site, enjoy its pics :-)
the temple from across the road...
some info about the temple by the ASI...
main entrance was locked; there is a smaller side gate to enter...
the temple...
going up the stairs...
insides of the temple...pujas were being performed...
the main idol...
carvings on the walls, or are these columns?
parts of the ruins lying scattered around the grounds...
After soaking in the ancient marvel, I headed back to Jaipur...
