On the same route, from Elephant Falls to Shillong Peak, it takes about 30 minutes. After my rather peaceful experience at the water-falls, it was time for little mountain adventure. What say?

tamasha khatam, paisa hazam...aa ab laut chale...
I didn't spend a long time there, barely 20 minutes or so, because, except the view, there wasn't anything else to do. There was no snow either, although, it was December then. Its breath-taking no doubt, but it was time for me to head back, and see if there was anything else I could cover. I wanted to take a 5 pm Sumo back, because, once it gets dark its not advisable to travel in the hills. It was 2.30pm then and I still had over an hour to spare. Where do I head next?
A picnic spot, 10 km from the city, at the height of 6449 ft and 1965 m above sea level, Shillong Peak is the highest point of Shillong, overlook with esplanades & observation towers. It offers a breathtaking panoramic sweeping vistas of the entire Shillong City.
